3D Animation Examples
MetaCreations Poser 4 Examples
In order to see some of these examples you will need to download the free MetaStream 2 Viewer
Example 1 Demonstrates how a 3D object (boy) can be viewed from every angle. ( This is a 1.4 Mbyte MetaStream file that will take 10 to 15 minutes to download and view with a 28.8Kb/s modem so it is probably best viewed on the college LAN. You will need the MetaStream viewer to see this example.)
A 3D boy model was imported from the Poser library and then his face changed using controls within Poser. The file was then exported in the MetaStream .mts file format. This 1.4 Mbyte file was then imported into the FrontPage Web. Next in order to embed the viewer in the page the required <EMBED> and <OBJECT> tags along with the necessary HTML text were added to the page.
Example 2 Shows a brief 3D animation. (This is a 400Kbyte .AVI file so it can be viewed with the Windows Media player.)
A 3D man model was imported from the Poser library. Different poses were applied to the model at three key frames. Then the an AVI movie file was created and imported into the FrontPage web. All of this was done with point and click. I did not draw anything.
