Audio Examples

There are several different ways to create and deliver audio over the Web or from CD-ROM. Previous examples ( I. Streaming Media ) have shown some of the ways this can be done. This page will attempt to provide a more inclusive and  up-to-date (December/1999) summary of some of the methods that are currently used with version 4 and 5 browsers and with the latest versions of RealSystems's RealPlayer and Microsoft's Windows Media Player.  Examples will include various combinations of HTML tags, scripting, dynamic HTML, streaming, and audio included within authored movies.
