Perseus Project  "The Perseus Project is an evolving digital library of resources for the study of the ancient world and beyond. Collaborators initially formed the project to construct a large, heterogeneous collection of materials, textual and visual, on the Archaic and Classical Greek world. Planning for Perseus began in 1985; the project was formally established in July, 1987. Since then, the Perseus Project has published two CD-ROMs and created the on-line Perseus Digital Library. Recent expansion into Latin texts and tools and Renaissance materials has served to add more coverage within Perseus and has prompted the project to explore new ways of presenting complex resources for electronic publication. "

Shakespeare Online  "In September 1999 I launched Shakespeare Online with hopes of providing free and original information on Shakespeare to students, teachers, and Shakespeare enthusiasts in general. The site has grown very fast and now receives over 2 million hits/month."

Barry's Clip Art Server contains a large collection of free clip art, images, and graphics.  It also has extensive links to other graphic collections and graphic software.  "If you want to use these images in your own WWW pages, I request that you NOT make direct links to individual image files. Please copy the files you want to your own server."
