For 2011-2012, CSLI anticipates (depending on funding) offering two
scholarships for
students with the value of about $250. The goal of these scholarships is to
acknowledge students who have shown consistent interest in CSLI activities.
Other criteria include:
- Taken some social science courses
- 3.0 GPA at AACC
- Participated in at least one CSLI semi-annual survey
- Shown interest in public policy and public opinion
If you are interested in applying for one of these scholarships please
provide:
- AACC transcript
- Summary of participation in CSLI activities/surveys
- A one/two-page, single spaced essay summarizing your interest in public
policy or public opinion research and how you may use contact with CSLI to
help further your studies in the future.
Submit these materials to the CSLI director, Dr. Dan Nataf (Careers 318 is
his office until January 2008 when the office location will be updated), by
April 1, 2008. Selection will be made by members of the CSLI board and Dr.
Nataf. Winners for the 2008-09 academic year will be announced by May 1, 2008
