These surveys have asked residents about their general views of the department, the nature of the public\'s contacts with police employees as well as their general perceptions of crime and crime prevention efforts.</span></div></div><a href="javascript:void(0);">Anne Arundel Public Library System</a><div><a href="javascript:void(0);">Client Survey - 2003, 2007</a><span class="qmcbox" >The library system needed a comprehensive evaluation of the interests and satisfaction of its patrons. The surveys were cooperatively designed by CSLI and the library staff; the surveys were administered by the libraries themselves. CSLI did the data analysis and final report.</span></div><a href="javascript:void(0);">Anne Arundel County Public Schools</a><div style="margin:-25px 0px 0px -153px;"><a href="javascript:void(0);">Goals 2000 - Full Service Schools</a><div style="margin:16px 0px 0px -833px;"><a href="javascript:void(0);"></a><span class="qmcbox" >A 1996 survey of four low income housing projects in Annapolis/Eastport. The survey was conducted in collaboration with the Anne Arundel Planning Action Committee. It dealt with the needs of local, low income residents and whether their needs could be more effectively met through an expansion of services provided through local elementary schools. Adults in local communities were surveyed along with students at Tyler Heights and Mills-Parole elementary schools.</span></div><a href="javascript:void(0);">Disruptive and Violent Students Project - 1998-1999</a><div style="margin:0px 0px 0px -835px;"><a href="javascript:void(0);"></a><span class="qmcbox" >This was a 1998 study of the Annapolis and Glen Burnie feeder systems, focusing on students with disruptive and violent behaviors. This study provided an assessment of the inventory of programs and initiatives meant to deal with such students, as well as in-depth interviews with teachers, administrators, students and parents.<BR><BR>A follow-up study in 1999 targeted the in-school suspension programs at three schools (Annapolis Middle, McArthur Middle, and Linwood/Brooklyn Park Middle) to help understand how in-school suspension programs were being implemented.</span></div><a href="javascript:void(0);">In-school Suspension - A Comparison of Programs at Three Middle Schools - 1998-1999</a><div style="margin:3px 0px 0px -837px;"><a href="javascript:void(0);"></a><span class="qmcbox" >This was a follow-up to the 1998 inventory study conducted in 1999. This study was meant to review the implementation of \'in-school suspension\' as an alternative to \'at-home\' suspension for treating disruptive and violent student behavior. Three middle schools were evaluated using a combination of quantitative surveys of administrators and students and qualitative interviews with counselors, teachers, administrators, coordinators and student advocates.</span></div><a href="javascript:void(0);">Evaluation of School-community Resource Officer Program – 2001</a><div style="margin:21px 0px 0px -392px;"><a href="javascript:void(0);"></a><span class="qmcbox" >As AACPS was rolling out its school-community resource officer program, it was concerned to understand how well the program was understood and perceived by various stakeholders like teachers, administrators, officers, counselors, students and parents. It consisted mainly of a survey of attendees (12-31-1998) which asked about demographic characteristics, spending patterns, overnight arrangements, etc. Sample findings were projected onto the estimated universe of attendees to derive estimates of aggregate economic impact.
