Center for the Study of Local Issues.
Director:
Dan Nataf, Ph.D.
Received his Doctorate from
the University of California, Los Angeles, in 1987. He has been the
primary author of most CSLI
publications. His duties
include client contact, overall project design and supervision, recruiting
faculty assistance. His expertise is in survey analysis, quantitative methods,
and program evaluation.
A political scientist by
training, he wrote a book on Portuguese democratization (Democratization and
Social Settlements: The Politics of Change in Contemporary Portugal. Albany,
N.Y.: State University of New York Press, 1995).
Project Specialist:
Christine Scanlon
Ms. Scanlon has been employed by
CSLI since 1990. Her primary duties include: assisting the Director with the
organization and coordination of CSLI projects, supervising and training student
interviewers and serving as a liaison between CSLI and students, faculty,
clients, and the public.
