  - Annapolis and Anne Arundel Chamber of Commerce
    - Membership Survey 1999-2000
      - The Chamber surveyed its members about their satisfaction with chamber services, the preferred forms of communication with the membership, fees and other issues.
    - Membership Survey 1997-1998
      - This membership survey was meant to help understand the memberships' perceptions of the Trade Council, its strengths and weaknesses, and to provide guidance for future services, projects and initiatives.
  - Annapolis, City of
    - Citizen Satisfaction Survey -1999
      - This 1999 study was based on a survey of Annapolis City residents. The government was interested in better understanding residents' views regarding levels of satisfaction with city services, perceived gaps in services, contact frequency and satisfaction with City personnel, and ways in which the City might improve residents' quality of life.
    - Annapolis & Anne Arundel County Transportation Study
      - CSLI performed two surveys to assist this group with its planning mission. The first inquired about residents' views and commuting patterns, focusing upon entry and exit from Annapolis. The second survey was distributed to employees in the downtown Annapolis area, asking about their parking preferences, commuting habits and flexibility towards alternative arrangements.
  - Anne Arundel Community College
    - Survey of Part-time Faculty - 2001
      - This study evaluated the perception of part-time faculty regarding AACC's programs, remuneration, opportunities for involvement and the like as these were directed at part-time faculty.
    - Survey of Faculty Teaching Online Courses - 2001-2002
      - This study focused on faculty teaching online courses with the intention of better understanding the level of satisfaction with the format of AACC's online environment, the level and quality of support, and faculty familiarity and comfort using a variety of online programming tools.
    - International Education - Survey of Faculty and Staff - 2002-03
      - "This study was meant to determine the level of interest in enhancing the international component of course and program offerings. It assessed faculty and staff familiarity with foreign countries and cultures.
    - Dating Violence - Survey of AACC Students and AACPS Students - 2001-2002
      - This study surveyed students at Northeast High School and at AACC to compare their experiences with dating violence, as well as their levels of knowledge about proper dating practices.
    - Workforce Training Needs Survey - 2003
      - In 2003-04, CSLI was enlisted to devise and administer a survey of employers in an effort to anticipate their labor needs. Specifically, this was intended to provide guidance for the development of curriculum and outreach efforts by AACC and the Anne Arundel Workforce Development Corporation.
    - Radcliffe Scholarship Survey - 2011
      - This survey asked recipients to indicate their current status and how the scholarship had assisted them.
    - Pay for Performance - Human Resources - 2004
      - This was an effort to assist AACC's Human Resources department to better understand employees' perceptions of the adequacy and fairness of the employee performance evaluation form and process. Focus groups of employees were conducted to derive qualitative comments which were analyzed in a report.
  - Anne Arundel County Childcare Resource and Referral Service
    - Childcare Needs Assessment Survey
      - This was a survey focused on County families' needs for child care services. It assessed the adequacy of current child care arrangements and preferences for new or additional services.
  - Anne Arundel County Economic Development Corporation
    - Multiple Liquor License, Restaurant Survey � 2004
    - This was a survey of Anne Arundel County residents meant to gain some understanding of their perceptions of restaurant offerings including types and quality levels. Respondents were also asked to comment about the then current restrictions regarding multiple liquor licenses that impeded the expansion of restaurant chains.
  - Anne Arundel County Executive's Office
    - Commission on Women - Glass Ceilings: A Study of Career Opportunities for Women and Minorities
      - This study was based on a survey of employees at the Departments of Aging and Police in 1997. The focus was on the perceptions of and experience with bias in promotion.
    - Criminal Justice Drug Intervention Program
      - With Dr. Stephen Steele as principal investigator, this study was meant to assist the County with strategic planning for this program. It started in 1998 and ran into 1999.
  - Anne Arundel County Fire Department
    - In 2010, a public survey was conducted asking about attitudes and experiences related to the Fire Dept.
  - Anne Arundel County Police Department
    - ICOPS Robbery Project - 1999-2000
      - This was part of a major grant received by the County's Police department which was meant to assess the impact of a Police outreach effort upon local small businesses. Pre and Post surveys of targeted businesses were conducted, evaluating their robberies prevention practices.
    - Police Accreditation Survey - 1997, 1999, 2001, 2004, 2007
      - A continuing project consisting of a series of regularly administered surveys meant to assure the Police Department's accreditation. These surveys have asked residents about their general views of the department, the nature of the public's contacts with police employees as well as their general perceptions of crime and crime prevention efforts.
  - Anne Arundel Public Library System
    - Client Survey - 2003, 2007
    - The library system needed a comprehensive evaluation of the interests and satisfaction of its patrons. The surveys were cooperatively designed by CSLI and the library staff; the surveys were administered by the libraries themselves. CSLI did the data analysis and final report.
  - Anne Arundel County Public Schools
    - Goals 2000 - Full Service Schools
      - A 1996 survey of four low income housing projects in Annapolis/Eastport. The survey was conducted in collaboration with the Anne Arundel Planning Action Committee. It dealt with the needs of local, low income residents and whether their needs could be more effectively met through an expansion of services provided through local elementary schools. Adults in local communities were surveyed along with students at Tyler Heights and Mills-Parole elementary schools.
    - Disruptive and Violent Students Project - 1998-1999
      - This was a 1998 study of the Annapolis and Glen Burnie feeder systems, focusing on students with disruptive and violent behaviors. This study provided an assessment of the inventory of programs and initiatives meant to deal with such students, as well as in-depth interviews with teachers, administrators, students and parents.
        
        A follow-up study in 1999 targeted the in-school suspension programs at three schools (Annapolis Middle, McArthur Middle, and Linwood/Brooklyn Park Middle) to help understand how in-school suspension programs were being implemented.
    - In-school Suspension - A Comparison of Programs at Three Middle Schools - 1998-1999
      - This was a follow-up to the 1998 inventory study conducted in 1999. This study was meant to review the implementation of 'in-school suspension' as an alternative to 'at-home' suspension for treating disruptive and violent student behavior. Three middle schools were evaluated using a combination of quantitative surveys of administrators and students and qualitative interviews with counselors, teachers, administrators, coordinators and student advocates.
    - Evaluation of School-community Resource Officer Program � 2001
      - As AACPS was rolling out its school-community resource officer program, it was concerned to understand how well the program was understood and perceived by various stakeholders like teachers, administrators, officers, counselors, students and parents. A wide-ranging interview and survey process was undertaken for assessment purposes.
  - Anne Arundel County Recreation and Parks Department
    - Anne Arundel County Recreation and Parks Department Planning Survey - 1998
    - This 1998 study was based on a survey of Anne Arundel County residents meant to provide Recreation and Parks with information about respondents' current recreational activities, use of (and satisfaction with) facilities, and whether there was a market for certain kinds of services such as child care, summer camps and various classes.
  - Anne Arundel Workforce Development Corporation
    - Workforce Training Needs � 2003
    - In 2003-4, CSLI was enlisted to devise and administer a survey of employers in an effort to anticipate their labor needs. Specifically, this was intended to provide guidance for the development of curriculum and outreach efforts by AACC and the Anne Arundel Workforce Development Corporation.
  - Capital Newspaper
    - Planning Survey 2005
    - During spring 2005, CSLI helped the Capital newspaper in Annapolis assess marketing opportunities in Anne Arundel County by conducting a newspaper readership survey of those in the target area.
  - Coordinating Center
    - Since 2005, a client satisfaction survey has been administered via US mail to Coordinating Center clients.
  - First Night, Annapolis
    - Economic Impact Study - 1998
    - This study was intended to provide some understanding of the economic impact of First Night Annapolis for the local economy. It consisted mainly of a survey of attendees (12-31-1998) which asked about demographic characteristics, spending patterns, overnight arrangements, etc. Sample findings were projected onto the estimated universe of attendees to derive estimates of aggregate economic impact. A follow-up study was conducted in 2002.
  - Housing Authority, Anne Arundel County
    - Residents Surveys, 1996-ongoing
    - A long-standing series of surveys of housing authority residents meant to assess their perceptions of their housing units and communities.
  - Housing Authority, City of Annapolis (HACA)
    - HUD Mandated Surveys (Occasional)
      - CSLI assisted the Housing Authority in conducting HUD mandated surveys of residents. These surveys varied considerably in complexity, with one combining mailed, telephone and door-to-door interviewing while another was simply mailed.
    - Residents Survey 1997-2002
      - From 1997-2002, CSLI ran a series of residents' surveys meant to evaluate their level of satisfaction with HACA services, the state of repair of housing units, and the quality of life overall within HACA communities.
  - Leadership Anne Arundel
    - Impact of Leadership Anne Arundel 1998
      - This was a comprehensive effort to assess the impact of LAA's program upon its graduates, their sponsors and the non-profit organizations in which the graduates participated.
    - Neighborhood Leadership Program Evaluation � 1999
      - This project looked at the expectations and backgrounds of participants in a leadership program especially targeting low income and minority residents. It sought to establish whether the expectations and the program's structure and content were matched.
  - Maryland State, Comptroller Office
    - Tele-filing Study � 1997
    - A 1997 state-wide survey of taxpayers assessing their tax filing preferences and practices. It also included an evaluation of taxpayer satisfaction with Comptroller services.
  - Maryland State, Department of Natural Resources
    - Customer Satisfaction Surveys -2001
    - This study was a multi-faceted effort by the various divisions within DNR (as well as DNR as a whole) to better understand customers' satisfaction with the performance of these units. Surveys were administered to samples of fee-paying customers. A comprehensive report was provided.
  - Systems Reform Initiative (Collaborative State/Local)
    - Family Needs Assessment Survey -1996
    - Based on a countywide survey of residents, this study was meant to provide an evaluation of family needs, the perceptions of threats to families, and an understanding of citizens' perceptions of the performance of certain County agencies such as the Police Department and Juvenile Justice.
  - Women in Communication, Association.
    - Membership Survey � 1999
    - This association sought to understand the job circumstances and overall interests of its national membership through a mailed survey.
